Long COVID and Psychophysiological Interventions

This episode’s guide is Shari Johannson, a licensed professional counselor and director of Grey Matters Neurofeedback in Lakewood, Colorado. Shari is board certified in neurofeedback and qEEG. Shari is using neurofeedback, biofeedback, and other neuromodulation approaches to working with people experiencing long COVID. Estimates vary, but more than half of people who get COVID may experience symptoms that last long after they recover from the virus. Biofeedback and neurofeedback are emerging as effective approaches to reducing some of the symptoms, especially cognitive fogging and fatigue. Shari is presenting a webinar on February 17th, 2023 for NRBS.

This podcast is produced by the Northeast Region Biofeedback Society. NRBS is an organization for professionals, students, and everyone interested in neurofeedback, biofeedback, and whole body health.
