Find the Way Through Anxiety and Stress
Due to the constant sources of stress we face, we sometimes lose our ability to deal effectively with what life deals us, and we get in a habit of our stress response. We may begin to react to normal activities with a flight or fight response when that happens. Stress can also trigger irritability, frustration, fatigue, or if left unchecked, may lead to a clinical anxiety disorder. These factors can lead to underperformance at almost everything, and can begin to affect our health, mental processing, and relationships.

Talk therapy can really help with this. Learning to be more aware, discovering where our responses come from and creating new coping skills are some of the takeaways of therapy. These can lessen the drain of real life impacts while helping us access more joy and be more present in each day.

Neurofeedback for anxiety and stress can sometimes be a good choice when talking through it all isn’t gaining you the changes you seek. It can help you train your brain to achieve a calmer, more relaxed, focused and more efficient state. With repetitive training sessions, you will learn how to guide your brain to more desirable and controlled patterns, and with dedicated practice, you will notice an improvement in your mental health. Neurofeedback is non-invasive and doesn’t involve putting any chemicals or medications into your body.

OCD
OCD may have genetic components and a correlation with anxiety. Regardless of the cause of obsessive-compulsive behavior, medications may be mildly helpful and lose effectiveness over time. Since neurofeedback creates new neural pathways and corrects the problematic brain patterns, the training reduces symptoms and associated unwanted behaviors.
