  • Dreading another meltdown from your child

Lakewood, CO’s Answer to

Brain Fog, Anxiety, Concussion & More

Person standing on a mountain peak with arms outstretched during sunrise or sunset, overlooking mountain ranges.

From the outside, you look like you’re managing. But inside, you’re foggy, frustrated, anxious, and just worn out.

Whether it’s post-concussion struggles, your child melting down, or you just don’t feel like you anymore…

We’re here to serve the Lakewood, CO, and nearby communities of Wheat Ridge, Littleton, Thornton, Arvada, Denver, and beyond, experience a new kind of science-backed relief – one that begins in the brain.

Parents are frustrated and down about trying so many other things. They’re tired of getting bad reports from their child’s school – or seeing their kid in tears. When I explain neurofeedback and brain behavior, it makes sense. It builds relief in them. We explain that it’s not their child’s fault – and there is a way to make things better.”

You’ve Tried Meds. Therapy. Testing. So Why Aren’t Things Better?

Because we understand the exhaustion that comes from doing everything right – and still not seeing results.

We specialize in what’s often overlooked: the brain itself.

Because decades of research show that the issues you're facing…

Are often linked to brainwave patterns that have gotten off track.

And when we gently retrain the brain through neurofeedback, those patterns begin to shift.

Focus improves. Sleep returns. Emotional regulation becomes possible.

Your child starts to come back to you.

You start to come back to yourself.

It’s the missing piece you’ve been searching for – often for years.

And we’re so glad you found us.

Every day, your child still melts down at the drop of a hat.

You’re used to dealing with the tantrums, rages, and tears (that seem to come out of nowhere).

Or maybe it’s you – exhausted from running on caffeine, anxiety, and fear about the future.

You’ve seen doctors, specialists, and counselors.

But nothing explains why your brain feels so foggy, or why you’re so easily overwhelmed.

…or why your child is still struggling to calm down, focus, and listen.

You’re tired of being dismissed (and sick of feeling like no one really *gets* it).

That’s where we come in.

“When she shows me what my brain is doing - it really validates all of the things I always knew weren’t right. And now I’m so hopeful things can change.”

Your Struggles Aren’t Like Anyone Else’s (Neither is Your Treatment)

“With neurofeedback, many people improve their reading skills and decrease their need for medication. It also helps decrease impulsivity and aggressiveness. It is a powerful tool, in part because the client is taking more control over his own physiological processes."

-Dr. Daniel Amen, Adult & Child Psychiatrist

Your brain wants to feel better – and now it finally can.

The endless overthinking. That tight feeling in your chest that never really goes away.

All day long, it feels like you're stuck in a loop you can't escape.

What most people don’t know: How you feel often stems from your brainwaves.

…decades of research (and thousands of studies) prove it.

Your brain is firing in patterns that keep you anxious, depressed, or foggy.

The good news? Those patterns can be gently retrained.

That’s where neurofeedback comes in.

Without you doing anything at all – except watching a TV screen or listening to sounds…

We help your brain recognize when it’s following the unhealthy pathways

…the ones that are causing your anxiety, depression, and focus issues.

Over time, your brain starts to heal for good – on a biological level.

And in as few as seven sessions, you start to feel relief (for the first time in years).

Michael D. says…

“I have become a firm believer in neurofeedback. It has truly saved my life. This clinic is full of wonderful professionals who really want to help.”

Your Brain’s Been Working Hard. We Start By Understanding Why.

A man relaxing on a gray armchair, wearing glasses, a white shirt, and khaki pants, with a small electronic device hanging around his neck, holding a tablet, in a room with a large green plant in the background.

We need to see how your brain is functioning in real-time, so we start with something called a QEEG brain map.

To identify where it’s running too fast, too slow, or just not communicating the way it should.

And with just a few small sensors placed on your scalp…

We’re able to see the brain patterns that *match* everything you’re struggling with.

Anxiety. Trouble sleeping. Focus issues. Feeling stuck or overwhelmed.

And the best part?

We use your brain map to build a personalized plan that helps your brain function better for good.

…not just feel better in the short term.

And for the first time, you see real, concrete insight into why you’ve been struggling for so long.

It’s not just validating, it’s hopeful.

…because it finally means you can get your life back.

“[Neurofeedback] improves seizures, depression, low self-esteem or congenital head injuries. Patients report they sleep better, feel better, they don’t have seizures, and they are more in control. We’ve had success with multiple sclerosis, chronic pain, migraines, fibromyalgia, and of course ADD.”

The Science of Getting Unstuck: How Neurofeedback Works

Your mental and physical symptoms often stem from dysregulated brainwave patterns (making your life more difficult)

Twice a week, while you sit in a comfy chair, we attach a few electrodes to your scalp (and you watch a TV screen or listen to sounds)

Within 7-9 sessions, you start feeling more even-keeled, less anxious, and more focused (life is much better)

“So many clients have tried medication without success. And when I see their depression and anxiety start to fade away with neurofeedback - I realize over and over again: Everyone needs to know about this. It’s time to stop doing therapy like it’s 1970.”

Because You Heal Faster When Therapy & Brain Retraining Work Together.

Two people holding hands on a table, one person with a black ring, the other with a silver ring, with a third person’s hands gently placed on top.

Ever leave a therapy session feeling lighter – only to feel like everything floods back a day or two later?

It’s not that therapy isn’t working.

…it’s that your brain is still stuck in the same high-alert loop it’s been in for years.

When your nervous system isn’t regulated, it’s hard to absorb the insight, connection, or calm that therapy offers.

You understand what’s going on – but your body and brain still react like nothing’s changed.

That’s where neurofeedback comes in.

It helps shift your brain out of fight-or-flight and into a calmer, more regulated state – so therapy can actually stick.

You’re not just talking about healing (you’re feeling it).

Processing emotions becomes easier. Reframing thoughts is more natural.

When you combine the two, you don’t just get support. You get momentum.

And that’s when real, life-changing shifts happen.

FAQ: Neurofeedback & Talk Therapy Near Lakewood, CO

  • Most people benefit from 20 to 40 sessions, depending on their goals and what they’re working through. Some see progress sooner, while others may need more time – especially if symptoms have been around for a while.

To get the best results, we usually recommend coming two times per week. This consistency helps your brain learn (and hold on to) the new patterns more effectively.

Don’t worry – we’ll create a plan that fits your schedule and your needs.

  • Everyone’s brain is different, so the timeline can vary – but many people start to notice subtle shifts within the first few sessions. You might feel a little calmer, sleep better, or find it easier to focus. For others, it can take a bit longer (usually after 8 to 10 sessions).

The changes you experience with neurofeedback are designed to last, because you’re training your brain – not just masking symptoms. Think of it like building a muscle: the more consistent the training, the stronger and more lasting the results.

  • Yes, it’s non-invasive and safe. It’s not painful, and lasting negative effects are extremely rare. Temporary side effects could include fatigue, headaches, or mild sleep disturbances – but again, these happen very rarely.

  • Neurofeedback is generally a non-invasive and gentle therapy, and most clients find it relaxing – even calming or meditative.

In many of our sessions, we use traditional neurofeedback, which doesn’t involve any electricity entering the brain. It simply reads brain activity using small sensors placed on the scalp, similar to how a heart monitor tracks your heartbeat.

However, we also offer advanced approaches like neurostimulation and microcurrent neurofeedback (such as LENS, Neurofield, and tDCS). These methods do involve very low levels of electrical current delivered to the brain, but they are safe, carefully administered, and well-tolerated by most clients.

Your comfort and safety are always our top priority, and we’ll walk you through every step to ensure you feel confident in your treatment plan.

  • No. It helps calm the brain, bring more focus and clarity, and support mindful responses. You're still you – just more grounded and resilient.

  • Absolutely. Neurofeedback is drug-free and can complement your existing treatment plan. Many clients can even reduce their medication over time with their practitioner’s guidance.

*We highly recommend that clients incorporate both neurofeedback and talk therapy together (this produces the best results).

  • This depends on your immediate needs. If you already know you’d like to incorporate neurofeedback into your treatment plan, we map your brain (with our non-invasive qEEG technology). Based on what we find, we come up with a personalized training plan unique to your specific brain pattern.

If you’d like to start with talk therapy, getting to know you is what we focus on first – what brought you in, what life’s been like, and what you’d like to work toward. Then we dive into what you’re struggling with day-to-day, whether that’s anxiety, relationship issues, or trauma that still feels unresolved. From there, we’ll create a personalized plan using approaches like CBT or EMDR to help you move forward.

*Talk therapy sessions last an hour, while neurofeedback therapy sessions generally last around 45 minutes (we recommend infusing the two therapies together for best results).

  • “I finally was able to wean off my meds and fixed my anxiety issue…which is HUGE.”

“I feel like a new person…huge difference in mood, anxiety, rumination and depression.”

“I haven’t had a single panic attack. I don’t look at things as threatening.”

“It helped me be able to complete trauma therapy… started with neurofeedback and it calmed me down enough to do EMDR.”

“Truly life changing…within 10-ish sessions it really made big changes to my anxiety/stress.”

“I feel more like myself than I can ever remember…incredibly clear and calm.”

“You saved my life…I’m starting to actually live again.”

“I hardly notice my anxiety. No more mood swings, I sleep much better…”

  • Insurance coverage varies. It’s sometimes covered for conditions like ADHD, TBI, or PTSD – but often, reimbursement is on a case-by-case basis. We’re happy to provide documentation for HSA/FSA claims or help guide you through claims submissions.

  • Our session costs can vary depending on the specific treatment plan, but we strive to keep things affordable.

We offer package discounts to make neurofeedback more accessible. Your well-being is our priority, and we want to make sure you can get the care you need without added stress.
