Talk Therapy That Gets to The Root

(For the Transformation You Deserve)

When nothing else has worked, our therapists believe the right tools change everything.

“If you are struggling with negative behaviors and emotions or want to know about how your brain is functioning this is the place to go.”

-Dorothy D.

Everything Isn’t Fine (& It Shouldn’t Be This Hard). We See You.

On bad days, you spend most of your time ruminating (usually over the same things as yesterday).

You’re so scatterbrained and exhausted that you cancel plans with friends more often than not.

And that’s when the guilt hits – then the anxiety (with sad thoughts lingering closely behind).

You’re numb, just ‘going through the motions’ of the day – over and over again.

You constantly think to yourself: “Is this just how life is always going to be?”

We’re here to tell you: Your life doesn’t have to feel like this.

Because here, you’ll work with a therapist who truly listens – and gets it.

Someone who knows how to help you understand the ‘why’ behind what you’re going through.

…so you can finally grasp certain behaviors, regulate your emotions, and start feeling like you again.

And if talk therapy alone isn’t enough? Neurofeedback can help you retrain your brain and get unstuck at the root.

Because healing isn’t just about talking – sometimes, it takes gently rewiring your brain to function in a healthier, calmer pattern.

So step into the version of yourself you’ve been fighting so hard to find (it’s time).

Therapy Isn’t as Intimidating As It Sounds–Here’s Why

In your first talk therapy session we…

1. Get to Know You — Not Just Your Struggles

First, we talk about what brought you here – but more importantly, we want to understand your story, your life, and what feeling better would actually look like for you. Then we work together to come up with a set of goals to guide us forward.

2. Explore What You’re Going Through Right Now

Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck in old patterns, or just not yourself, we’ll start gently unpacking what your day-to-day feels like. This is a space where nothing is “too much” or “too small.” Everything you’re dealing with matters.

3. Make a Plan That Feels Right (On Your Terms)

By the end of your first session, we create a path forward – one that matches your needs, your pace, and your goals. Whether it involves CBT, EMDR, neurofeedback, or simply having a space to talk freely each week, we meet you where you are and grow from there.

“When someone has tried a lot of talk therapy with little progress, and then we add neurofeedback, suddenly the skill-building and growth that wasn’t there before – is able to spring forward. The changes they or their family notice at home increase the momentum and help changes become more permanent.”

Why Therapy Hasn’t Worked for You (Hint: Your Brain May Need Help Getting Unstuck).

You’ve learned to suffer with the sadness, anxiety, and rumination that live inside your brain.

Because you’ve seen four different therapists, and none of the tools they suggest bring you relief.

You still go every week though, with a glimmer of hope that things will someday *click* (and you’ll magically feel better).

But here’s what no one’s told you: Talking endlessly about your thoughts and emotions – doesn’t always help.

In fact, hundreds of studies prove that your rumination is from a dysregulated brainwave pattern.

That’s why we use neurofeedback, a science-backed brain retraining method.

…that regulates those patterns and reduces symptoms (for good).

And in as few as seven sessions, clients start feeling like themselves again.

You’ve done years of talking – now let your brain do the healing.

This clinic is full of wonderful professionals who really want to help.”

Putting your struggles into words can be hard (it’s why we’re here).

Giving You the Tools to Tell a New Story – One You Believe In.

Your life isn’t – and hasn’t been – like anyone else’s. That’s why we use proven therapy techniques that fit you best. So you can understand your thoughts, feelings, and relationships – and begin to rewrite the way you see yourself (and your story).

  • Two women having a conversation on a beige sofa in a bright room. One woman is holding a notebook and pen, the other is smiling and wearing a pink hoodie.

    Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Helps you recognize and shift negative thought patterns. Instead of thinking “I’ll fail”, CBT helps you replace it with “I’m prepared, and I’ve got this.”

  • A therapy session with a therapist and a patient sitting on a sofa. The therapist has their hands together, and a clipboard with a pen is on the glass table in front of them.

    Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

Gives you tools to manage overwhelming emotions and respond more calmly. Think deep breaths, boundary-setting, and pressing pause (instead of reacting in the heat of the moment).

  • A woman lying on a gray sofa and talking with a therapist in a therapy session. The therapist is seated on a chair, taking notes. The room has wooden floors, a white coffee table with a plant, a glass of water, and a folder. There is a bookshelf and plant in the background.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

Helps your brain process painful memories so they lose their emotional charge. Been through trauma (like a car accident) that still triggers you? EMDR helps reduce that intensity.

  • A young woman sitting on a beige couch, smiling and hugging her knees, in a warmly-lit living room.

    Person-Centered Therapy

What should we know about the services you Creates a safe, judgment-free space to talk, feel heard, and explore what matters to you. Imagine talking to someone who truly listens and helps you uncover your own insight – at your pace.? Better descriptions result in more sales.

  • A woman with black hair in a beige blazer and gray pants sitting in a blue armchair, speaking to another person with red hair, in a room with large windows and a flower arrangement in the background.

    Internal Family Systems (IFS)

Feel like different parts of you are pulling in opposite directions? IFS helps you understand those inner voices – like the critic or the avoider – and how they’ve been trying to protect you since childhood (making room for more self-compassion).

  • Two young men having a conversation in a living room, with one sitting on a dark purple couch and the other facing away from the camera.

    Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)

Focuses on what’s working, what you want to change, and how to move forward –  starting now. It’s great for problem-solving and small, doable changes that lead to big results.

  • Two women with curly hair having a conversation in a cozy living room.

    Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Teaches you how to sit with hard feelings instead of fighting them (and keep living your life anyway). ACT helps you say: “This is tough, but I can still take the next step.”

  • A woman with dark brown hair smiling while sitting on a cream-colored tufted vintage sofa, holding a pink and white pillow, in a cozy room with soft lighting, patterned cushions, and a window with curtains.

    Narrative Therapy

Helps you reframe the story you tell yourself – from one of struggle to one of strength. If your inner voice says, “I’m not good enough,” narrative therapy helps you write a new, empowering chapter.

Near Me FAQs

  • If you’re even thinking about therapy, it’s probably worth exploring. You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit – therapy is for anyone who wants support navigating life, improving relationships, managing emotions, or simply feeling more like themselves again.

If you’ve been feeling anxious, stressed, stuck, or just mentally drained…therapy might be the support you didn’t know you needed.

  • There’s no one-size-fits-all answer. Some people feel better after a few sessions, while others appreciate having ongoing support. Your therapist will work with you to set goals and find a pace that feels right for you. Therapy isn’t about rushing – it’s about real progress, one step at a time.

The changes you experience with neurofeedback are designed to last, because you’re training your brain – not just masking symptoms. Think of it like building a muscle: the more consistent the training, the stronger and more lasting the results.

  • Absolutely. You don’t have to have everything figured out before starting therapy – in fact, that’s what therapy can help with. If you’re feeling off, overwhelmed, or just not like yourself, we’ll help you get clarity and support, even if you can’t quite name the problem yet.

  • Yes. Medication can help with symptoms, but therapy helps you work through the deeper stuff – like habits, patterns, beliefs, and emotional wounds. Many people find that therapy and medication together make a powerful team for healing. We’re here to support the whole you.

  • Totally normal. Sometimes just talking about your day leads to deeper insights. Your therapist is trained to gently guide the conversation, even if you’re not sure where to start. Just showing up is enough – we’ll take it from there.

  • No. What you share stays between you and your therapist, with a few exceptions for safety (like if there’s a risk of harm to yourself or someone else – which we’ll always be upfront about). This is your space to be fully honest, without fear of judgment or exposure.

  • It’s a lot like dating – the right fit matters. It’s okay to meet with a few therapists before deciding who feels right. You’ll want someone you feel safe with, who listens and really gets what you’re going through. If the connection isn’t there, it’s okay to keep looking – your comfort is everything.
